NAN WARSHAW BLOODSHOT RECORDS

Nan Warshaw established Bloodshot Records in 1994 (with Rob Miller) as an independent record label based in Chicago, Illinois. The label specializes in roots-inflected indie rock.  Label artists currently include Justin Townes Earle, Exene Cervenka, Bobby Bare Jr., Wayne Hancock, Ha Ha Tonka, and many more; Bloodshot launched the careers of Ryan Adams and Neko Case.  Prior to Bloodshot, Nan was a DJ at punk rock clubs and college radio, an independent publicist, a club buyer and indie booking agent, and she worked in the non-profit sector.  Nan received her BA from the Evergreen State College, which she attended with Calvin Johnson and Bruce Pavitt [founders of K Records and Sub Pop]; and received a Masters of Arts Entertainment & Media Management from Columbia College where she wrote her thesis on independent booking of alternative rock.  Today Nan proudly sits on the advisory boards of The Future Of Music Coalition, and the Chicago Music Coalition, and on the honorary board of Rock For Kids.  15 years and 170 releases later, Nan continues to slog away in the scrappy indie label world in order to work with bands she loves.

PAM BALDWIN MVD ENTERTAINMENT GROUP

Pam Baldwin is the marketing associate of MVD Entertainment Group (previously known as Music Video Distributors, Inc) founded in 1986 by Tom Seaman, an industry veteran of more than 40 years, whose background included retailing stints with Record Hunter, Sam Goody, Musicland, CBS Retail, and wholesale experience with Jem Records. MVD initially acted primarily as a one-stop, buying all labels' music-related VHS releases and reselling to music and video stores. Getting involved with DVD early, MVD called upon its strong relationships with content holders, labels, artists, and management to become a world leader in music DVD. In 2006, MVD expanded further and launched an audio CD division based on these same strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
MVD Entertainment Group is a corporation consisting of three major divisions: MVD Visual, MVD Audio, and MVD Distribution.
